Trials

 

Another key focus for Delta’s advisory services is to conduct regular trials and provide clients with specialty information where required.   All trials are replicated and are sown, harvested and managed by an independent agricultural research firm.   Local trials conducted by Delta Ag in 2009 are:

1.       Wheat & Barley variety trials (x2)

2.       Canola Variety Trial (x3)

3.       Grain Legume and herbicide tolerance trial

4.       Large scale permanent pasture variety trial (x3)

5.       Alternative fertiliser and biological products trial on wheat

6.       Evaluation of new and current pre-emergent herbicides for ryegrass control in wheat.
