            MARKETSMART COMMODITY MANAGEMENT PTY LTD JOINS

DELTA AGRIBUSINESS

Delta Agribusiness recently expanded into the Narrabri region to provide Rural Merchandise and Agronomy services, with depots also at Bellata and Burren Junction. We are now pleased to announce that MarketSmart Commodity Management Pty Ltd has joined Delta Agribusiness  to expand the grain division into the northwest and provide a complete service to valued clients.

The Principal of MarketSmart Commodity Management, Mick Parry, has 25 years of commodity markets experience, and provides licensed independent advice and pricing strategies to optimise returns in grains, pulses and cotton.  He also brings with him an established and expanding grain brokerage business where he endeavours to achieve the best possible price for the client at all times.

Delta Agribusiness is a dynamic and diverse independent business with thirteen retail branches.  It provided services such as Rural Merchandise, Ag Chemicals, Animal Health, Seed and Fertilizer, Agronomy, Grain Marketing, Livestock Marketing, Real Estate, Insurance and Finance, Horticulture and Viticulture Services, and Packaging.  Further information can be read at www.deltaagribusiness.com.au.

Delta Grain, a division of Delta Agribusiness, provides an independent marketing advisory and brokerage service for winter and summer crop producers from Southern NSW to Central Queensland. We currently market grain and pulses on behalf of over 400 clients, providing them with access and exposure to over 30 preferred buyers on any given day.  Under suitable market conditions Delta Grain can also achieve additional market premiums through collective marketing of parcels from within the client group, and established buyer relationships.

Importantly, the aim of both Delta Grain and MarketSmart Commodity Management is to work closely with clients with the sole objective to provide timely independent advice on price risk strategies, when to sell, and also where we can get the best price.   Working together will strengthen our ability to service our clients at every stage of crop production and sale.
