COVID-19 UPDATE 3.6.20

WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS

We have been working through the advice and guidelines from the Federal and State Governments on managing the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

All Delta branches are open for business, and we expect to remain that way as essential providers to Agriculture, and a critical part of the ag supply chain.

We continue to take this seriously and believe coronavirus may continue to impact the way we operate for many months to come. We have however, updated some of our procedures and protocols to suit the current and changing conditions.

We have today put in place additional measures that will allow us to service all farmers and continue to carry out business in a safe manner and reducing risk as much as we can for the protection of all.

Protocols now in place at all Delta Ag and Lachlan Fertilizers branches.

  • Please plan your needs as much as you can and phone ahead any orders to be packed and ready for collection.

  • We request that clients do not enter the show room or office sections of our business locations.

  • All merchandise collections will be conducted in the drive thru warehouses, or branch yards.

  • Limited cash will be accepted, all transactions are to be by account sale, BPay, Eftpos or credit card.

  • We are committed to reducing contact between staff and clients to reduce the spread of COVID-19. As such, our staff will be practicing social distancing of 1.5m minimum and avoiding any physical contact. Please follow the same procedures once you enter the site with both staff and other clients.

  • If you have any Flu Type symptoms or feel unwell, please do not come into our branches. Please give us a call and we will organise a delivery or other suitable solution.

  • Livestock sales will continue as normal under social distance protocols unless advised otherwise.

  • Our agronomy and farm advisory team are out servicing our clients; however, our protocol is to not share vehicles with clients. Advisors will either carry out paddock inspections alone, or if a client would like to be present there will need to be a second vehicle.

We would like to thank you for your compliance, patience and understanding during this difficult time. We wish to assist in flattening the curve in how this virus spreads and avoid any risk of infecting our clients or staff.

These measures have not been taken lightly and are done to protect all parties into the future, and to ensure that we can indeed remain open and not a victim of isolation. We hope everyone remains safe and healthy and we look forward to resuming normal interactions when it’s deemed safe by the Australian Health Authorities.

We appreciate your ongoing support and if there is anything else we can do to assist you during this time, please give us a call.
