A leading edge - Doug Rathbone joins the Delta Agribusiness Board

In exciting news, the Delta Agribusiness leadership team has been heightened with the appointment of former Nufarm Ltd managing director Doug Rathbone, who has joined the Board of Directors. Mr Rathbone is a well-known and highly respected industry entrepreneur, having led crop protection giant Nufarm from a small domestic business to become a globally significant player, over a career that spanned 41 years, with 15 years of those at the helm. Delta Ag continues to be a rising force in the farm inputs, advisory, ag tech, and commodity marketing sectors, having delivered exceptional growth across NSW in its 11 years since inception. Delta Ag has been able to achieve a compound average annual growth of over 30 per cent over that period, growing from two initial outlets in 2006, to now 28 locations and 230 people across its network. “We are extremely pleased to welcome Doug to our board, and can see the tremendous value he can add with his vast experience, business credibility and wide industry knowledge and contacts,” Delta Ag Managing Director Gerard Hines said. “Doug brings a fresh set of eyes and new ideas at a defining stage of our evolution.
